The 2019 KTM 250XC was among the last of the carbureted off-road bikes offered by KTM. We all know TPI has it's pros and cons, and that debate is for another time. Regradless, we should enjoy these modern carbureted models while we can!

This bike got some great hardware, starting with our very own AMP Wheelsets. Although the bike comes with an 18-inch rear, Dirt Bike swapped this out to a 19 because it would work better in the National Grand Prix Championship and WORCS races, which often take place at least partly on a motocross track. The AMP Wheelsets are available in 18/21 and 19/21, with red, blue or orange hubs!  This set was outfitted with Hi-Point tires and a Supersprox sprocket.

The stock carburetor is good, but a Lectron carburetor was added to take it to the next level. The Lectrons have been recently updated, and they let a metering rod do the job that 5 jets would do on a normal carb.

Next would be a Scott's steering stabilizer, which are extremely helpful in high speed races in the American West.
