Red Bull Straight Rhythm Returns

700 loads of dirt to build the course on Huntington Beach, CA!
...No Title...

After a two-year Covid hiatus, fan-favorite Red Bull Straight Rhythm was back this weekend. Except this time it was on Huntington Beach, a stones throw from the ocean beside one of the most popular boardwalks in the world.  32 riders on 2-strokes went head-to-head racing on a half-mile supercross-style rhythm section drag.

Fresh off his WSX win, Ken Roczen was the favorite to win aboard his Yamaha YZ250. Red Bull KTM Rider Marvin Musquin won the event in 2014, 2016, and 2017...but he had never raced this event since it moved to two-strokes, and wasn't known for his ability to ride them. As the night wore on and riders were knocked out, it started to rain...in Huntington Beach! (it never rains there). The Frenchman didn't let the change in combustion-type or weather deter him, he defeated Ken Roczen soundly for the win!
