I had experience with the boxes built for the 1290 adventure from a tour in Austria. I got these for my 1190 adventure R. They fit perfect and go on and off in moments. A good buy and way better than something than needs its own mounting rack. When you are done with these pop them off no extra hardware is left and you are ready for single track and harder trails!
Pros: easy fitment, made for the bike, matches the keys
Cons: none as long as you dont crash to badly

These are a true show of the quality KTM puts out with their accessories. Had these installed within 5 minutes fresh out of the box. The locking mechanism works flawlessly the capacity incredible. I use an Icon Airflite helmet and it fits in the large box with room to spare! Pop up handles are rugged. Good weight holding capacity of 22lbs in the large box. I would recommend these to anyone and suggest that someone buy these over any other box set.
