2022 KTM 250 SX-F Factory Edition
The new generation is HERE! Most manufacturers keep their dirtbikes on 3-4 year cycles with just minor updates or refinements year to year. If you love dirtbikes like I do, you've been scouring the internet for rumors, watching videos and day-dreaming about what farkles and features KTM can cram into the new platform for at least 6 months. Photos finally released of these new mystery machines in December, and the KTM Factory guys showed up at A1 on the new bikes. Although some dealers got their Factory Editions as early as late February, ours just limped in recently.
I was a bit skeptical, as the 19-22 generation was so good! How could KTM possibly make this machine better? Well, if you've been hiding under a rock for the the last few months you'll be happy to learn this bike has a new frame, engine, subframe, swingarm, cockpit switches and just about everything else. In fact, the ONLY parts we know for sure will transfer over to the new model directly are the front wheel and handlebars. I'm excited to dig in and start learning about this bike before the 2023 regular models hit showroom floors in June! I'll check in again when the 450 model arrives!
