After two riding seasons the guard has saved the pipe from the usual dings and dents, with no visible damage to the guard, however the pipe itself bent at the neck to the point it was rubbing on the radiator and the pipe was pressed against itself at the neck. The neck was tweaked where to the point the o-rings were showing. So, good protection but nothing is going to save your pipe from the hard hits.
Pros: Good protection. Light weight. Looks good.
