KTM Aluminum Topcase Carrier Plate

This topcase carrier plate was extremely easily to install it probably took all of five minutes!! The KTM topcase fit perfectly and the carrier plate makes it a tight and sturdy fit. Very reasonably priced especially when compared with similar products from other manufacturers.

My only issue is the OEM top case has two small nuts on the bottom that will scratch this plate if they are not placed exactly in the center as you install it (how likely is that?). Unlike the side hard bags there are no rubber or plastic bumpers to guide/center the top case as you lower it. Also the plastic pads that actually grip the plate when you secure it have already marked the finish. Oh well... this is not a fault of the plate (except the easily marked finish) but of the case mounting hardware that is integral to the case (Touratech are you listening?).
