The 3.1 gallon extended-capacity tank for the 2011 KTM 250/350 SX-F and XC-F bikes offer an extra gallon of fuel capacity for SX models, and an extra half gallon for the XC-F models.
This tank was developed with input from the Factory KTM race team and designed to hold the extra capacity while maintaining a feel near that of the stock tank. In fact, Factory KTM's Charlie Mullins and Mike Brown used this IMS tank to take first and second place in Round 1 of the 2011 GNCC Championship in River Ranch, FL even before it's release.
