Shock must be disassembled to install so if you have the ability to do it I would nrecommend this adjuster.nIf you are not able to do it yourself you will need to take it to a shop that can.nI had my suspension guy install it when he did my suspension work.nThe KTM Rear Shock Pre-load Adjuster is way stronger than the stock plastic one and it is very easy to adjust with a power-drill and socket.

The adjuster is great because it does replace the plastic one and makes preload adjustments much easier. The problem is you need to disassemble the shock which means you either need a vacuum/pressurization pump (4K from ktm but can be built for 500) and the connection to refill the shock with 145 psi n2 which is another 400 if you buy it - long story short pay 160 for this and then another 100 to have shock damper bled and repressurized at your dealer. Ktm should be giving these pumps to its dealers. My recommedation of this product is based on the user and usage - if you set it and forget it w your sag - then dont spend the money but if you ride a lot or in different terrain it could be worth it to invest
Pros: Easy to adjust |Metal construction
Cons: Costly to install|Costly service
