    The Type 296 Silencer is a quiet spark arrestor that should be used when riding in noise sensitive areas or any National Forest. The Type 296 Silencer is also U.S. Forest Service approved and will reduce your bikes noise level at or near 96dB on most models.

    Needed a USF approved silencer and have always ran a turbine core on my old bike. A few of my friends have these on there YZ250x and it looked better made my turbine cores always came about inside and rattled. This is a very quiet pipe and after one year I still have had to change the packing this is also the case with the YZs The fit is also perfect no goofy spacers like my FMF
