Installation is straightforward on stock 1-1/8" handlebar, but gets tricky around the handguard mounts. I managed to fit them both on, but required additional spacers at the bar ends to move the handguard outboard, creating more space near the triple tree for the Zeta mounts.
Also, with handlebar riser, screen is too high and there is not enough adjustment in the curved Zeta mounting bar to push it down far enough. I solved this by quickly fabricating two vertical bars from 1/2" aluminum "L" bar stock purchased at a big box home improvement store, but to about 6" length, and drilled with several holes one the same spacing interval as the existing screen mount. This allows the plastic screen to be moved up/down independently of the curved mount bar. I prefer the top edge of the screen to be at or just below chin level (so helmet is in clean air and experiences no buffeting), and in the stock mounting position it is closer to eye level. Plan to install stainless knurled thumb screws and nuts on screen to facilitate quick and easy screen adjustment or on/off for road vs. trail riding. Love that replacement screens are available for $30.
Zeta: you can easily solve the lack of vertical adjustment by welding (90 degree angles) rather than bending the screen mount bar.
Pros: Once height of screen is properly adjusted, ariflow is perfectly smooth with no helmet buffeting. Trandforms the 701E from dirt bike air management to full big-ADV bike air handling. Best of both worlds!
Cons: Mointing with handguards is tight, and requires some finagling. Maybe not the best option for someone who runs handguards and is not especially handly with tools.
