    FMF MegaBomb Header 250 SX-F 05-06 XC-F 2007

    Resulting from the highly innovative and successful PowerBomb, FMF Racing has upped the performance ante again with the ALL NEW and exclusive titanium MegaBomb. Utilizing the experience from FMF+s patented module precisely located at the initial stage of the header for improved performance and increased flow, the MegaBomb takes the same principles to a higher level. The concept evolves from the expansion and contraction of exhaust sonics through the header. The ducted core within the "Bomb" allows the exhaust gases to exit into the enlarged chamber where they expand, cool and ramp back up at a higher velocity resulting in increased flow. In addition to the performance gains, the MegaBomb acts as a pre-muffler reducing overall sound output by as much as 1.5dB on most models! But wait, there+s more - as an added benefit, the MegaBomb restores most of the torque loss experienced when running a more restricted, quieter muffler. The MegaBomb was designed for improving the bottom to mid-range power for the current line of performance four strokes. What the MegaBomb achieves is the low-end pull of a long header with the top-end surge of a short header though the layout makes it less susceptible to damage than a long header.
