I installed the fan kit on a 2020 TE300I and it was plug and play.Fan kit included the needed relay and all mounting hardware. Radiator needs to be removed to install the fan but is well worth the effort.

Plug and play units are the way to go! Works great and is easy to install.nnThere is one little installation tip if youre installing on a 2020 XCW. As of January 2020 the directions are still for a 2019 and tell you to install the relay inside the airbox. On the 2020 the relay is actually located under the seat and even is labeled Fan Relay just pop that sucker in and youre good to go!

Easy to install on 2021 KTM 300 XCW TPI. Included relay plugs into slot labeled fan under the seat. I was able to install the fan unit without completely removing the radiator. Drew out some coolant until the fluid level was below the top radiator bung. Disconnected the top hose and then rotated the core enough to place the bracket and screws. Reverse the procedure plug in one wire and your good to go. Instructions available on KTM manual website.
Pros: Plug and play|Clean appearance|Utilizes factory harness|ECU controls temp|No probe into fins

Great OEM product with a straightforward install process. OEM instructions state to drain entire coolant system and remove the radiator but I drained about a cup of coolant and just removed the upper hose to be able to pivot the radiator to install the fan bracket. No need to bleed the system doing it this way.
