The SICASS lighting system is powered directly from the bikes starter battery, eliminating the need for an upgraded stator. The headlight is wired with a low power "battery saver" disconnect for low RPM situations. On an SX-F or XC-F you can also install the optional relay harness (21-345) to set up the lighting system to only work when the bike is running.
