Beta USA makes history at San Diego SX!

Beta USA makes history at San Diego SX!

It's hard to believe we are already about to race round 4 of Supercross at Anaheim 2! Last time I updated you guys Beta had just came off a very rough round 1 at the  Anaheim opener. In fact, their bad luck had started several weeks earlier with the injury of their top tier rider Colt Nichols. He would be replaced by Jon Short who would fail to make the night show in the first 2 rounds. Benny Bloss ran into motorcycle issues at the first two rounds as well, and Beta social media was relatively quiet. The entire industry has been holding their breath and waiting for Beta to make a splash in the main event.

That wish was granted this weekend in the 2nd mud race of 2024 in San Diego. Although it wasn't as sloppy as San Francisco, the mud was thick and made most of the jumping extremely technical and tricky. We saw a lot of crashes by top riders and Aaron Plessinger rode to his first win. Benny Bloss rode his Beta 450RX to a 5th place in his heat race followed by a 15th in a stacked main event, and Beta could sigh a breath of relief. Teammate Jon Short also had an improvement on the night, making the night show and missing the LCQ transfer by a few spots. Hopefully Colt Nichols will be returning soon and the Beta team can really make some waves!
