    Life before the shield: Burnt/melted Troy Lee riding pants smashed exhaust pipe that was $300+ to replace.nnLife after shield: Protects my pants and saved my new exhaust from a direct hit into a rock garden. Carbon took a mighty hit cracked in a couple places but didnt fail.nnIf you suck at riding or take unnecessary risks this is a must have.
