These mirrors give you much better visibility whether you run them up or down. The optional lever protectors for this bike would be mounted in the same place so using them together requires a bit of ingenuity on your part
Pros: Better visibility |stylish |Brand matching
Cons: comparably expensive |will be damaged by any fall

I love these mirrors. Super easy to install all you do is remove the bar end weights and slide these in their place. Took me a awhile to realize that you want the mirror angling forward more to take advantage of the full adjustability of this mirror. They offer much better rear visibility and look ten times better than the stock mirrors.
Pros: Easy to install|Looks great|Improved safety
Cons: None

Ditch the Mickey Mouse mirrors and start seeing what\s behind your shoulders and elbows!\n\nThese are insanely well built and rock solid throughout the rev range with crystal clear quality and an incredibly easy install if you\re on a 401 (3 minutes for both sides if you\re not in a hurry).\n\nBox comes with everything to fit the 701 as well so hold on to it if you think you might ever upgrade--and at least on a Svartpilen 401 if you want to run \em down \cafe style\ don\t you\ll be tapping your thighs.
Pros: Build Quality|Looks|Visibility
Cons: Shouldve been stock

This part has be superseded by part #21012940100.\n\nLooks/Style: Like all other official Husqvarna anodized parts these things are HIGH quality and worth the price. Looks wise I like the stock micky mouse mirrors I bought the bar end mirrors because I wanted to give them a try and so my bike cover would have a loose fit. The only issue I have with the style is the mounting point which is super basic/overly-cylindrical this could\ve been machined differently to match the neo-cafe racer looks imo. FYI the mirrors themselves are SMALLER in diameter than the stock mirrors. \n\nInstallation: You will likely received part #21012940100 which has additional mounting hardware due to the 2020 bikes having a different fitting inside the bar. So you will NOT need to use the expanding joint/fitting as seen in the stock images. Instead the 2020 bikes have a threaded plug (that can come out if desired) the plug is simpler because you just use the bolt and spacer included in the kit. \n\nInstallation note: The plug inside the handlebars is typically flush with the end of the bar but in some cases the plug may have been pressed in too far. If the plug is too far inside the bar you need to find a way to draw the plug out until it\s flush with the end of the bar. I ended up using a bunch of washer that are wider than the bar end and used the stock bar end + bolt to draw out the plug until it was flush.\n\nFunctionality: I personally feel the stock mirrors can be adjusted to work well I\m 6\0\ and yes it\s hard to angle the mirrors in a way that doesn\t get obstructed by your shoulders but it\s possible. The other thing is that the bar end mirrors have convex glass which captures more rearview area but \objects in mirror are closer than they appear\. The bar ends are probably better for highway driving while the stock mirrors are better for city driving.
Pros: Style|Finish
Cons: Mounting design|Functionality 4 city driving
