KTM Wave Brake Disc Set 1390 Super Duke R EVO 24

I ordered these go my 2022 SDR EVO. On fitment it says these are not compatible. However when you look on the KTM parts diagram the rotors have the same part number. So I ordered and they fit perfectly. The reason I got these is because I have a 2020 1290 SAS that I changed the front wheel to a 17” x 3.5” rim. When built the front wheel out it was from a 2019 SDGT. I had to make some parts to make it work ( rotor spacer, custom tone ring, additional 2mm axel spacer) but I chose Galfer wave rotor for that wheel . It’s not that you stop faster, but to me the feel of the brake is just so much more linear, and they shed heat faster. But the feel of them is amazing. Do having had the SDR EVO for two years I started looking at wave rotors for the front of the SDR EVO. I found in my reviews that these rotors were made by Galfer for KTM. At that point I was in. I fitted them on the day they arrived and the same feel came through on this set as on my SAS. The stock pads are fine. I love these rotors and would never go back. So if you can afford the outlay for these, they will not disappoint.
