KTM Heated Grip Kit 890 Adventure

This heated grip kit is awesome. It shipped quickly and was exactly what I thought it would be.

Heated grips makes it so Much More Enjoyable to ride my 890 Adv bike in cool or cold weather! The grip install on the bars was straight-forward. Routing the wires down to the connector was easy once I had found the connector under the headlight near the frame. There was excess cabling, so I wrapped the folded up excess in black electrician's tape - that was a little tricky in the cramped area. The controller is to be placed near the battery, under the seat. That was a very tight fit, as the controller is encased in rubber. A little silicone allowed it to slide into place. These grips work via the KTM TFT Dash display. All good.

The install was fairly easy on my 2021 KTM 890 Adventure R. The "heated grips" wire was in the pocket below front of gas tank and was easy to route wires. Grip install was very easy and I routed the wires along with the existing cables. The control unit was a bit of a tight fit near the battery and it's not going anywhere. Started up bike and select the options to identify they are there then tried the various power levels and I'm very happy to have them. and wooo hoo, they work.
