Centre stand ADV-R cmpl.

This stand does the job, but is a little lighter duty than I’m used to for an OEM center stand. It is probably appropriate that it be lighter for a KTM ready to race bike I suppose. Relatively easy to install, and works as advertised, but I think the return spring should be a little heavier. Going over larger obstacles often has the stand swinging down and snapping back to store position which is a little annoying. The directions note you shouldn’t be sitting or putting weight on the bike when on the center stand, as it is only designed for the weight of the bike. So you can’t put your kids on the bike and pose them for a picture apparently on the stand either. Despite some weaknesses, I would buy it again because it allows me to do chain maintenance and change tires virtually anywhere.
