STARTER RELAY

One morning my Vitpilen 401 just wouldn\t start. A quick internet search led to a video showing someone with the same bike and symptoms tightening the connections on the starter relay. Apparently these tend to come loose over time telling me that they may not be that durable or reliable over the long term. Replacing the relay involves unhooking the battery (and subsequently resetting the clock - a pain on the Vitpilen) and removing a side panel (also a pain on the Vitpilen) so now I keep a spare starter relay on hand to swap in place of the original one the next time the original one works its way loose.
