KTM Ergo Riders Seat 790/890 Duke 18-22

I rode a 390 for years with the stock seat, then borrowed a friend's 890 to test ride before buying my own. Loved his bike, made the jump and then was super disappointed that my new bike was so uncomfortable on long rides. That's when he told me that I'd spent a week riding around with this seat and not the stock one on his bike. Immediately ordered one and it's made all the difference in the world.

I wasnt sure at first that there was that much difference between this seat and the stock one until I went across the first rough rail road crossing. I have no idea how the magic of the foam works but its firm up until it receives a hard shock and then it allows for enough give to not transmit it shock through to your butt.

I was not expecting much but a pleasant surprise that the Ergo Comfort seat for my 790 Duke is a noticeable improvement in reducing impact of sharp bumps in the road as in pipes and tree roots under the pavement. The surface is also less hard and abrasive than the stock seat. Why does KTM not make this seat standard? Very easy to install as well.

The stock seat on my 890 Duke R is like sitting on a block of steel! Monkey Butt in 30 minutes or less. This seat is what should have come stock on the bike. Love it!

Great look with better ergonomics and a bit firmer yet supple foam that seems to absorb shocks better.

i expected a more comfortable feel from this but it is only a little better than the stock one.
