In fact it does the opposite. The seat is an inch wider than the stock seat so it negates any benefit from the stated 20 mm lower. I actually have less secure footing using this seat and can only get the tips of my toes on the ground. \n\nNot sure what the purpose is for KTM selling this as a lower seat.\n\nIt is comfortable for riding though.
