Its OEM. Works fine now. Last one started having problems at 40 hour and finally died at 80. Bushings were ok. I wish I had an aftermarket alternative.

I ride a 2013 KTM 300xc bought to replace stock. Changes gear ratio to spin engine fast. I guess we will see. Fast reliable AOMC service as always.

Yes this is the new laser welded version better than the older ones with the press fit gear. I bought to replace a failed laser welded version would be nice if KTM upgraded to a splined shaft and laser welded so we can stop replacing them.
Pros: Starter now works
Cons: Not durable|Prone to failure
