DECALSET RIM FRONT+REAR 701SMC

I bought these for my 2019 701SM and they not only look great but the quality is also really nice. I took my time making sure to clean the surface with alcohol and a microfiber cloth to ensure the wheel area was nice and clean. After application I ran my heat gun over the applied area and smoothed it out with that microfiber cloth. I took it for a nice long ride today to test the stick and everything is great!

I knew about these decal issues going in and I ordered 2 sets just to be safe. nnFirst off they are very difficult to apply correctly. If you dont get the first inch or so right the first time you cant really peel back the decal and re-apply as the decal will stretch and deform.nnSecondly even after successful application they will start to peel in a day or so. The sharp corners of the decal will lift and dirt will start trapping under and they will not look good. The part of the sticker that fits the inside of the wheel will also start to lift off since the decal doesnt really form fit to the wheel.nnMy bike is a 201`8 which has a rougher matte finish on the wheels compared to the smooth finish on the 2016 wheels. Perhaps that is why they dont work well on my wheels? No idea. I imagine the adhesive will stick better on the shiny paint finish? Again no idea.nnOverall I would not recommend if you are particular about your bike. Even with all the issues they still look great rolling.
