    Description

    Kpmi Intake Valve

    • All KPMI® titanium valves are one piece forging manufactured from solid U.S. milled 6-2-4-2 or 6AL4V titanium bar.
    • These are the latest developments in titanium valve alloys and have superior strength and thermal characteristics when compared to other titanium valve alloys.
    • The titanium bar is cut, and hot forged into shape. While the forging is still hot, the valve stem is pulled to cross-sectionally reduce it.
    • After all final grinding and machining is completed, the valve is encased in a hard chromium nitride (CRN) shell.
    • CRN offers excellent resistance to impact, abrasion, and corrosion.
    • We have tested these valves in the lab and on the track.
    • They have proven themselves time after time in many high-demand applications, from a dual stage nitrous engine, to 14,000 RPM applications.
