I ordered this backrest along with a 48L top case for my '23 1290 SAS. Shipment was fast. Only issue that I encountered was that the only instructions are online via KTM website and they don't show the entire backrest installation, they only show the 'smaller' portion of the backrest. I ended up installing half of the back rest upside down, then realized I couldn't open the top case because the back rest interfered with the case lid!l Found a couple of online videos of the top case with this backrest and figured out my problem. So, it took longer than it should have simply because of the lack of precise instructions.
Pros: fits perfectly. Easy to install
Cons: poor instructions
