At 5'6" and a 30" inseam, I'm on my toes with this seat, but love it over the stock one. Less knee bend, more comfort, and looks great. I think the foam is the same as the stock seat, but more of it. I thought the stock seat was firm when I first bought the bike but it broke in. I thought the same of this.seat. Super firm at first, but has broken in nicely. Much better on longer rides.
Pros: Looks, comfort
Cons: Tall, but that's why you want it, so...

Seat is tall but I'm 5'8" and it's not an issue for me.
Pros: feels and look more like a dual sport bike
Cons: none so far

This taller seat was just what the doctor ordered. I am 6'2 and I wanted a stiffer and taller seat for my offroad adventures. This seat checked all of the boxes. Plus it looks amazing! A great product and a wonderful value.
Pros: Height, The way it looks on the bike and grip
Cons: Not good for shorter riders
Recommended: This seat should come standarad on the 390 adventure. It makes the dual sport experince a much nicer one.

This seat should come factory on the bike. But KTM is aiming for the more average height person. Being 6'2" this seat fills better and knees aren't as bent now. Fill more gripped to the bike. Can't say how it fills on long rides but it is ferm not so much to complain about it. The fitment is perfect and looks so good on the bike. Money well spent.
Pros: Taller seat. Tight fitment. Look. Maneuverability while riding
Cons: Tough to get on and off.

It’s taller and has more grip but the cushioning is a little uncomfortable for longer rides compared to the regular factory one.
Pros: Grip, seat height, nicer look
Cons: Harder and tougher on bottom

So far I rode the bike twice since getting the new seat. It has significantly improved the entire experience of the bike for me. In the city I was able to mess around for a long time and not feel the fatigue I used to get on the stock seat. It took a heavy full day trip with lots of off-road for any fatigue to set in but it allowed for almost a full day ride; a definite upgrade to the old seat that started to feel too hard a couple of hours into a ride. Its softer than the original but isnt a full on couch you still feel planted and stable. I also appreciate the extra grip that it provides and the extra seat height being a tall rider. Also like the look of it more.
Pros: Comfort|Better grip|Enduro look|Good for tall riders
Cons: Not ideal for short riders
