KTM Soft Body Protector (Black)

Took a chance on this one after a buddy of mine had success with it. I've tried a number of different armor suits and chest protectors over the years, often these are significantly more expensive than the KTM one listed here. The KTM is in fact CE rated, and because the armor is removeable can be upgraded to higher CE ratings by purchasing different armor inserts. Seems to be well built, and offers a lot of ventilation.

I was in the market for some off road protection, but didn’t want a big bulky plastic setup. This is exactly what I was looking for. No where online lists the protection, but I can confirm it’s CE level 1 upon inspecting it. I’m sure in the dead of summer, this will run hot but you could lose a jersey to help aid some heat. The material is obviously thin, and if it gets caught on anything, will tear. Solid value, and the service from AOMC.MX was stellar.
