I was very disappointed after coughing up $330 to buy a new speedometer unit only to find that it has a very small crack in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Granted it works - but Im concerned about moisture getting into the unit which are already known to have reliability issues after a few thousand miles. So I opt for new over getting a used one over Ebay and get hosed. nn I have still had no response from AOMC on whether they can get me a new one or whether Im stuck with it. This is nearing a week later (granted they are having issues responding quickly due to COVID I know). However it seems to me that Id have been better off getting a used one at half price over Ebay - at least then I could have verified that the unit was free of defects from the photos and if I received it in any condition other than advertised would have had recourse to send it back. Since the policy here typically appears to be no returns on electronics Im having more and more of a sinking feeling Im going to get hosed on this deal.....either way its going to be several weeks now even if I do get a replacement unit.
