These are a great middleground where these are substantially more protective than stock louvers but not as heavy/bulky as some of the aluminum guards on the market. For my riding which mostly goes back and forth between moto and gp racing these are exactly what needed-just a bit more support to prevent the radiators twisting/crushing in a crash. If you\re worried about sticks and rocks puncturing the radiator these will likely not satisfy your needs.
