The clutch side of my bike looked woefully exposed but I went ahead and rode it up a rock garden river the moment its first hour was up. nnI rocketed the bike off a slippery patch of embankment and watched that clutch sail in slow motion towards a particularly malicious-looking rock. nnThankfully the story has a happy ending and the handlebars saved me from a long push by perhaps half an inch. nnThis is the most cost-effective clutch cover protection Ive found. The plastic seems to be a little less flexible than the skid plate the bike comes with and looks like itll stand up to several rocks in my garden before giving.
