I have had the clear version for a few years and replaced those with the black version. As a decal its fine. As a tank protection sticker its fine. But what it is supposed to be is a grip and its horrible. The clear version has skateboard-like grit embedded in it. The black version has cross hatch grooves that are completely ineffective. Its a smooth decal. If thats what you want 5 stars. If you are looking for grip go with the clear version. I say clear because its actually silver/gray due to the adhesive.
