I am not an electronics guru and I read enough stories about the small bike batteries frying and blowing up when over-charged. This unit was a bit pricey but it charged a brand new KTM OEM battery in about 5 hours. The instructions were great and there was no drama. I am sure there are other less-expensive options out there but for me this was plug-and-play and that was worth the extra money.
